Sri Lanka is an island country located to the south of the Indian Peninsula in the Indian Ocean and has an area of 65,610 sq. km. Most of Sri Lanka is low-lying and is ringed by sandy beaches and small, irregular lagoons.
From 1st March 2022, fully vaccinated travelers arriving into Sri Lanka are no longer required to present proof of a negative PCR test taken in the 72 hours prior to arrival. This applies to all travelers who have had the recommended dosage of an approved Covid-19 vaccine.
