Hin Daeng & Hin Muang

These two submerged pinnacles are the deepest dive spot in the area. They are quite some distance from Koh lanta, but well worth the jouney as they are wold-class dive sites and offer some of the best opputunities to look for manta rays and whale sharks. Even if the big staff does not  make an appearance, there is a huge varity of life to see. You need some dive experience before taking a trip out to these dive sites as the currents can be quite strong. 

Dive Sites Hin Daeng - southern Island

 Hin Daeng the red rock is a huge stone rock with the south side going straight down to the bottom. It is rich overgrown with colorful soft and hard corals. Needlefish, barracudas, fusiliers, rays and even turtles.

Dive Sites Hin Muang - southern Island

 Hin Muang a 200 meters long rock topped with beautiful purple soft corals and much more. Large sea fans, anemones, gray reef sharks and schools of jacks are the highlights. There you also have the chance to meet wale sharks and mantas..

Dive Sites Koh Ha - southern Island

 Koh Ha 90 kilometers away from Phuket. Features underwater caverns which lead to a chamber inside the island. Night dives are fantastic. Wire corals, sea fans, big rays, turtles and leopard sharks.

Koh Rok

The twin-islands of Koh Rok Nok and Koh Rok Nai boast an entire square kilometer of coral garden with beautiful visibility and colorful reef life.
The uninhabited island of Koh Rok are part of Koh Lanta's  National Marine Park and are named after a small furry animal (called 'Rok' in Thai), which can occasionally be spotted on the islands. Giant monitor lizards (often over a meter in length) are regularly seen on the beautiful power white sandy beaches.

 Here you will find a lot of hard coral and a few soft corals in between. Black tip reef sharks and turtles are often seen visitors of this dive site. On the island you can see the black temple, which was carved out of drift wood.

 The "insider" island Koh Rok Nai is one of the not inhabited islands, with a channel between them to dive through. Koh Rok Nai lays about 25 kilometers south of Koh Ha. You will find beautiful hard corals, tubes, giant mussels and a huge variety of big and small reef fish.
