Your journey will commence from Phuket heliport, crossing over directly to “Phang Nga”, where you will see the lush vegetation, mangrove trees, small villages, and shrimp farms dispersed across the region. Leaving Phuket you will encounter Phang Nga’s extraordinary limestone rock formations, as we cruise alongside them. We will pass some of Phang Nga’s famous spots such as: Koh Panyi or “Muslim floating village”, “James Bond Island”

We will circle around Koh Panyi so you can capture this moment and see how man and nature coexist gracefully. Nature has its ability to astonish the advent explorer as we approach Khao Tapu, which means “Nail Mountain” or more like “Nail Island.” A more familiar name would be “James Bond Island,” made famous by the movie “Man with the Golden Gun.” The actual main island is Koh Ping Kan, which means “leaning on each other island.” This is named after the limestone, which is split in two and the one half is leaning against the other.

Now you are headed over to the kayaking island of Phang Nga Bay named “Koh Hong”, where you will cross over the secret lagoon, hidden within the limestone island itself. From the secret lagoon of Phang Nga, we will head straight back to the Phuket heliport for your safe return.

For a group (max 6 guests) we recommend to charter the helicopter for a private trip and get a 10 minute Bonus – Flight duration will be 40 Min.

What to bring/wear : Normal clothes for tropical weather are fine, as the helicopters will be temperature controlled. Before take off and immediately after landing, it can become warm in the helicopter depending on the strength of sunshine. Avoid loose clothing around helicopters, such as hats, as they may fly up into the rotors and damage the aircraft.

Please bring a photo identification card or passport with you to the helipad.

Travel- & Medical Insurance

Travel Insurance including medical repatriation insurance is mandatory on all our trips. Therefore, we strongly recommend to our guests to make sure to purchase suitable insurance package, which covers all kind of traveling problems, such as lost or loss of luggage, any kind of cancellation of airlines or tours for the value for all the length of your trip. All our tours are including local accident insurance via the operator, but they are most of the time not European standard. Make sure that it covers all the activities that you are likely to undertake, such as rafting, scuba diving, cycling, cruises, trekking etc. Many ‘free’ insurances that come with banking packages, credit cards etc., are quite inadequate to cover you, so make sure you check the policy before your travel. You are required to give a copy of your insurance policy to your tour leader upon arrival. Without proper insurance like this, we will not be allowed to join the tour as we will not be able to respond adequately in case an emergency if you do not have the right insurance. Please also contact your doctor for further preparations regarding to your chosen travel destination including immunizations.
