Our first stop will be at the Mae Klong Railway Market. Upon arrival you will have time to be ready for the arrival of train at 08.30am. The market is considering the most amazing and unique attraction in the area. Set up directly alongside a railway track and is also called “life-risking” market because its stalls are attached to the Mae Klong Ban Laem railway. Vendors at the market put out parasols or canvas over the railway to protect themselves against the sun and visitors walk and do their shopping. When the signal of the arriving train rings, vendors rush to close their parasols and canvas along with clearing all goods so that the train can pass. As soon as the train passes parasols and canvas will be reopened, and business continues.
After this exciting experience you will continue to the enchanting Amphawa Market. This floating market is next to next to picturesque canal-side wooden homes, with abundant restaurants and coffee shops to sit and enjoy this idyllic scene. Enjoy the view of traditional Thai life along the waterway by long-tail boat.
