Day 1 Phuket  - Old Phuket Town               ( B / L / D )

Upon arrival at Phuket airport, we transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Phuket is a melting pot of cultures and cuisines and our day of discovery starts with a stroll around Phuket town. We stop for brunch at Lock Tien to sample Hokkien fried noodles. After, we step off Phuket’s well-trodden tourist trail to explore a part of the town that is home to Sino-Portuguese architecture. We visit a Chinese temple and walk by colonial mansions and rows of food stalls, stopping to taste some Thai snacks, including khanom ahpong, a crispy rolled up crepe. We then visit Thaihua Museum to learn about Phuket Baba cuisine, a fusion of spicy southern Thai food, Malay classics, Indian spices and Chinese dishes.

In the evening, our culinary exploration continues with dinner at Tu Kab Khao. Set in a beautiful colonial building, this establishment serves native Phuket dishes, including moo hong (braised chunks of pork in a flavoursome pepper sauce).

Overnight at Casa Blanca Boutique Hotel.

Day 2 Phuket Town – Chalong – Phuket Town                  ( B / L / D )

After breakfast at the hotel, we start the day learning to cook like a local with a session at the Blue Elephant Cooking School & Restaurant.  This hands-on class begins with a trip to a local market for an introduction to Thai ingredients and to buy products needed to cook up a range of mouth-watering traditional dishes. With the help of professionals, we will cook up a feast to be eaten in a convivial Thai setting.

After lunch, we head to Chalong Bay Rum Distillery to join your knowledgeable guide for a glimpse into the inner workings. Discover the magic of our spirit's creation as you learn how we craft our award-winning rum from sustainably grown Thai sugarcane, all the way to how we finish every bottle lovingly by hand.

We then visit the bustling night market. This is the island’s largest market and the perfect place to snap up souvenirs, sample more tasty snacks and enjoy dinner before returning to your overnight accommodation.

Overnight at Casa Blanca Boutique Hotel.

Day 3 Phuket Town               ( B / L / D )

With Phuket’s cuisine drawing a strong influence from China, a common breakfast bite is dim sum. We start the day with a visit to one of the island’s top dim sum restaurants, to sample a few dishes and soak up the vibrant atmosphere. In addition to dim sum, breakfast options include congee with preserved eggs, pork ribs with Thai spices and local-style noodle soup.

The day of gastronomy continues with a trip to Rang Hill. Khoa Rang Hill is one of Phuket’s favourite viewpoints and offers up splendid views over the town that stretch out to the coastlines. It is a popular place to visit, not only for the views, but also for the restaurants, fitness park and panoramic terrace at the hill’s summit. Khao Rang Hill is surrounded by nature and really is a breath of fresh air that showcases a spectacular viewpoint over Phuket.

We then take a long-tail speedboat from Laem Hin Pier to a floating restaurant, a lively eatery that bobs on the water. The highlight is the fresh seafood cooked by talented professional chefs, coupled with a cooling sea breeze. Dishes include lobster, crab, fish and prawn. After a hearty lunch, we return to the hotel to transfer to Phuket International Airport for your onward flight.
