There are several good reasons for wanting to become a PADI Rescue Diver. Rescue training expands your knowledge of diving, increases your level of diving skill, and makes you more aware of what is happening around you in the diving environment.
The Fun Part is to rise to challenges and mastering them. Many say on the end it was the best course they ever took.
Within the course you will learn, self rescue skills, problem prevention and accident management and equipment, as well as how to respond to and deal with a diving emergency as rescuing panicked and unresponsive divers.
Be prepared, and learn how to recognize, prevent, or deal with a diving related problem. It is an enjoyable way to become a more experienced and responsible diver.
After a knowledge development session by using a video and verbal presentation, you will write a multiple choice exam which consists of 60 questions. At the huge swimming pool you will practice 10 exercises from ‘Tired diver on the surface’ to salvage operations from boat or shore for non responding divers until you are ready for the final four required rescue scenarios, which will conducted on a day trip on board of a diving vessel.
During these scenarios you are able to summarize everything you learnt during the knowledge and swimming pool session.
