Meet your guide at your hotel / villa between 08.15 – 08.30 to start your day by driving in an air-conditioned Van / car up the hill to the “Big Buddha”. Stroll around and learn the process of the build of this magnificent statue on the highest point of Phuket. Meet the local monks and get his blessing, this part is optional, just let your guide know in the van if you like to get the blessing so he/she can arrange it. The monk exception a small donation (around 100 THB) for this service and to keep this monument going.

From here we will do a short stop over at the famous “Wat Chalong” you will learn how the Buddhist are praying and for what each building is used. Go up the stairs to the top of the new temple building and get a great overview over this temple area.

It’s time for lunch; we continue our journey to Phuket Town to visit the unique “Tamachart Restaurant” a quirky restaurant which has got to be the most unusual, out-of-the-ordinary eatery in the heard of Phuket Town.  Enjoy your lunch (Thai / Chinese dish) while checking around the place.  Fish Tanks which are posing as television sets, unusual water fountains and of course the toy model train track running through the restaurant and much more unusual items which are used as decoration catches visitor’s attention.    

After a traditional Thai Lunch, we will continue the tour by exploring “Old Phuket Town” with its old Sino-Portuguese style houses, stroll around Thalang Road and visit some of the oldest shops on the island such as the old and still traditional Chinese Pharmacy where you still can buy all the old Chinese medicines or many other herbs. Visit an old “Chinese Taoist Temple” before you step into one of the oldest Sino-Portuguese “Chin Pracha Mansion” in Phuket town, the evidence of the Tin Legacy. It's over a hundred years old but is well-maintained and is listed as one of Thailand National Heritages by the Nation's Fine Arts Department and used for many Thai and international movies and TV shows. With a little bit of luck, meet the owner, who is still living in this amazing piece of Phuket History.

Old Phuket Town is full of history, culture and unique shops and little cafés. Experience what locals eat and taste their cuisine. If you have a passion for food and appreciate 'Yummy Bites Full of Story', this is perfect for you. The tour includes tasty local snacks on the way.

Before we return to your villa / hotel we will end the day with a visit to “Rang Hill” for a beautiful panoramic view overlooking Phuket City, Chalong Bay and Phuket Bay. Be aware of the wild monkeys, which are running around.
