Visit Chin Pracha Mansion (on Friday tour), the oldest Sino-Portuguese styled mansion in Phuket town, the evidence of the Tin Legacy from over a century ago, it's a location of many Thai and international films and TV shows. Have a chance to meet the owner, who is still living in this amazing piece of Phuket History.
Experience what locals eat and taste in their cuisine. If you have passions for food and appreciate 'Yummy Bites Full of Story', this is perfect for you. The tour includes tasty local snacks and a meal (lunch or dinner) at one of the local restaurants.
Visit perhaps, the real natives of the island, the Sea Gypsies on Koh Sirey. Originally nomadic people, their ancestors roamed the area in the Andaman Sea for many centuries before making their ways for permanent settlement on the west coast of southern Thailand a century ago. Visiting their village to see how they live their independent and self sufficient lifestyle so simple and very close to nature!
We will visit two Buddhist temples; one of the Thai tradition, the other of the Taoist Chinese belief, along with full explanation of the differences and why, before we make our way to Rang Hill, for a beautiful panoramic view overlooking Phuket City. Getting a geography explanation for why Phuket was named so while taking in a good look at Phuket Town, Chalong Bay and Phuket Bay.
On Sunday Afternoon Tour, visit the only local museum in Phuket Town. The Phuket Thai Hua where rich cultural heritage and the history of Chinese settlement here are beautifully portrayed inside the century-old building, formerly a local Thai-Chinese school.
Meeting the Locals is a great way of getting to know the Real Phuket and our diverse culture and people, as well as enjoying a variety of local cuisines. The tour is on offer 2 times a week:
Friday – from 09.00 – 16.00 (9:00 am to 4:00 pm)
Sunday – from 14.00 – 21.00 (2:00 pm to 9:00 pm)
(Sunday is a special afternoon program designed to incorporate the Sundays Night Market Walk on Thalang Road at the end of the tour).
