Get ready for an amazing day cruising on board of Phuket finest and most traditional vessel. There are two different itineraries to choose from, just look below which of the two you like to join.
Both itinerary starting early in the morning for your transfer from your hotel in Phuket to the pier at Yacht Haven by air - conditioned bus around 07.30 am. Embark the traditional Junk around 09.00 am and cruise through the enchanting and breathtaking 'Phang Nga Bay'.
Itinerary 1: James Bond Island – Grotto Cave – Koh Panyi (Floating Muslim Village)
Departure every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Around noon, arrive at the famous island where the ‘James Bond’ movie: ‘The man with the Golden Gun’ was shot for some private photo shooting. Continue your journey by long-tail boat through the mangrove delta and the ‘Grotto Cave’ to the Fisherman village. Visit this unique villages which is totally built on stills and meet some local fisherman.
After a delicious Thai buffet lunch served back on board of your traditional Junk, enjoy the afternoon. Relax sunbath or go for a swim. Cruise back to Phuket Mainland, minivans are awaiting you for your transfer back to hotel. You will return to the pier at the Yacht Haven around 4.30 pm
Itinerary 2: Sam Chong Nuea Village – James Bond Island
Departure every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
After around 2-hour cruising into this amazing archipelago we will meet with the “Sam Chong” community, which send a long tail boat to transfer you to the village. On the way you will explore on board of this local boat the near-by mangrove forest, which is a habitat for a large variety of fish-, crab and shrimp species. Arrive at the Sam Chong Village you will listen to a short presentation about the village hundreds of years old history and development to become an award OTOP (“One Tambon – One Product” a project initiated by the Thai government to promote locally made products and CBT (stands as the abbreviation for community based tourism) village.
After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in the village, you will get the opportunity to walk through the community to observe villagers living their daily routine. Returning to the boat we will stop by for a short visit to James Bond Island – a most asked destination stop from our guests. You will return to the pier at the Yacht Haven around 5.30 pm

Ban Sam Chang Nuea and the Village on Koh Panyi are very traditional Muslim Villages. There is no alcohol being sold or allowed to bring in. Furthermore, ladies are encouraged to cover up their bare skin, head scarves are not required. The boat crew provides sarongs for this purpose.
Travel Insurance including medical repatriation insurance is mandatory on all our trips. You are required to give a copy of your insurance policy to your tour leader upon arrival. Without proper insurance like this, we will not be allowed to join the tour as we will not able to respond adequately in case an emergency if you do not have the right insurance.
