This eight day liveaboard cruise brings you to the best dive sites at the Andaman Sea. Exploration of the underwater world around the well known Similan islands, the famous pinnacle Richelieu Rock and dive site Koh Bon as well discover the amazing Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar (Burma)incl. some of the best divesites around the Burma Banks on board of M/V Deep Andaman Queen.
MV Deep Andaman Queen will leave Tap Lamu pier 8pm after giving a boat briefing and having dinner. The next morning you wake up and do your first dive at the Similan Islands. During the next days you will make your way up to the north entering Myanmar to discover the Mergui Archipelago as well.
Do four dives each day and two / three dives on days when crossing the Thai / Myanmar border and two dive at the last day before heading back to Phuket or Khao Lak. The vessel will be back on the last day at 3pm
Day 1: departure
- Around 15.00 - 18.00 hrs ( 03.00 - 06.00 pm) pick up guests from hotels or airport around Phuket and Khao Lak. Transfer to the pier in Tablamu.
- Arriving around 20.00 hrs (08.00 pm) at the Deep Andaman Queen at Tablamu pier.
- Welcome drink will be served. Listen to a informative Boat Briefing and get to know our crew before checking in to your cabins.
- Welcome Dinner on board before departure from Tablamu Pier to cruise overnight to the Similan Islands.
Day 2: Koh Bon, Koh Tachai & Richelieu Rock
- 2 dives at Koh Bon and Koh Tachai followed by 2 dives around Richelieu Rock
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner on board
- overnight on board and cruising to the Thai Border Town Ranong for immigration on the next day
Day 3: Ranong / Thailand - Kawthaung / Myanmar – Mergui Archipelago
- Early morning we will clear all the border formalities at Ranong / Thailand and Kawthaung / Myanmar before continue cruising to our first dive site in Myanmar / Burma
- 1 or 2 exploratory dives at High Rock, Rocky Island and Shark Cave area
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner on board
- overnight on board
Day 4: Mergui Archipelago
- 4 dives at the famous Black Rock
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner on board
- overnight on board
Day 5: Mergui Archipelago
- 4 dives at North Twin, Shark Cave and Stewart Island
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner on board
- overnight on board
Day 6: Mergui Archipelago
- 4 dives North Rock, Fan Forest and Western Rocky
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner on board
- overnight on board
Day 7: Mergui Archipelago - Thailand
- 2 morning dives at Western Rocky then returning to Kawthaung for checking out of Myanmar and back into Thailand.
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner on board
- overnight on board and cruising south to our last dive sites for the cruise
Day 8: Koh Bon - Tablamu
- Early morning dive around Boonsoong Wreck.
- Cruising back to Tab Lamu Pier
- Lunch and debriefing on the way back.
- Disembarkation at Tab Lamu Pier around 13.00
- Transfer between 13.00 – 16.00 back to your Hotel in Phuket, Air Airport & Khao Lak Area
End of Service
Note: Schedule and Itinerary depending on the weather conditions and the discretion of the Cruise Director and Captain and depends on currents, dive sites activities, light, objective, sailing times etc. The spots are possible, but not guaranteed.

Transfers to and from MV Deep Andaman Queen within Phuket Island and Khao Lak (by our schedule and time table only ****), 5 nights’ accommodation in shared cabin, all meals (breakfast lunch, dinner), refreshments such as tea, coffee, fresh water & juice, soft drinks, Fresh fruits, snacks, 12 l alu tanks, weights and weight belts, professional Tour leader, Divemaster and Instructor, ratio 1 DM : 4 divers. guest’s insurance, (Total of 26 dives)
Prices not included:
Any international or domestic airfare, transfers outside Phuket & Khao Lak to and from the boat, on board telecommunication, National Marine Park fee* (payable on board), rental diving equipment , Nitrox, PADI / SSI Diving courses, alcoholic beverages, Tip, diving insurance** or travel insurance***
Please book in advance if you need to rent a diving computer or underwater camera.
* Similan & Surin National Park Fees
- 500 Baht for entry into the Similans or Surin (divers and non-divers) plus...
- 200 Baht per diver per day
Example for above trip:
Entry fee for Similan & Surin Island 500 THB x 2 entry = 1.000 THB
Diving fee 200 THB x 4 days = 800 THB
Total (payable on board) 1.800 THB
Please note that the National Park Fee is set by the National Park and is subject to change without notice.
* Myanmar Entry and Visa permission
We enter Myanmar (Burma) under a license agreement from the Myanmar Ministry of Hotels and Tourism. Passengers for these dive cruises do not need a visa, but are required to pay an entry fee of 200 US$, Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Travel & Diving Insurance
Including medical repatriation insurance is mandatory on all our trips. It is not included with our packages and it is your responsibility to purchase suitable insurance package. Make sure that it covers all the activities that you are likely to undertake, such as rafting, scuba diving, cycling, cruises, trekking etc. Many ‘free’ insurances that come with banking packages, credit cards etc., are quite inadequate to cover you our tours, so make sure you check the policy before your travel. You are required to give a copy of your insurance policy to your tour leader upon arrival. Without proper insurance like this, we will not be allowed to join the tour as we will not able to respond adequately in case an emergency if you do not have the right insurance. Please also contact your doctor for further preparations regarding to your chosen travel destination including immunizations.
