Khao Sok National Park - Thailand's hidden gem in the south

Khao Sok National Park is one of the oldest rainforest in the world and the biggest in the South of Thailand. The Park is a remnant of rainforest which is more diverse than the Amazon rainforest. A visit to Khao Sok National Park will allow activities including jungle trekking on boot, visiting waterfalls & river rafting/ canoeing. Also nearby is the amazing Cheow Lan Lake and Rachaphrapha Dam. Trekking & Hiking

As Khao Sok being a tropical rainforest, there are many wild animals. The park is estimated to contain over five percent of the world’s species such as: Malayan tapir, Asian wild elephant, tiger, sambar deer, bear, guar, banteng, serow, wild boar, pig-tailed macaque, langur, white handed gibbons, squirrel, muntjak, mouse deer, barking deer over 180 bird species. Enjoy hiking / trekking through the rainforest whilst taking in the beauty of the surrounding flora and fauna. Find the most famous for the Bua Phut (Rafflesia kerrii) flower which grows within the park a rare and visit some of the waterfalls. 

 Canoeing & Bamboo rafting

The Sok River is a perfect place to relax yourself. Enjoy the beautiful views along the river. Most commonly seen animals for example are birds and fish. Moreover, the view of limestone cliffs, mountain range and wide sky are amazing.  Take a canoe or raft along the Sok River and enjoy the relaxing serenity of the jungle canopy and limestone cliff surroundings.
