Itinerary:

Day One: Kawthaung – Taung La Bo Island – Poni Island – Island 115      (- / L / D )

Your journey around the unspoiled Mergui Archipelago started either in Kawthaung or Ranong. Transfer from the airport or hotel in Kawthaung and from Ranong are included in our Package.   The boat will depart at 10.00 am in the morning so that the transfers will start quite early from Ranong. (click here to get more details of how you get to Kawthaung / Ranong )

You will be greeted by our guide, who will escort you to the pier in Kawthaung. Meet the other traveler and get the first glimpse of the bustling border town of Kawthaung before the time is ready to get on board our unique vessel your home for the next three nights.

Onboard, you will get a detailed briefing about the boat and what to expect over the next few days. Our tour leader will show you your gazebo for the night so you can get set and ready for the journey to our first stop, Taung La Bo Island, for a quick stopover. Take a plunge into the turquoise sea and enjoy life.

Lunch will be served on board while we continue our cruise to Poni Island for our first snorkeling stop. We will continue our cruise further north to Island 115, with its amazing beaches, and time to do some kayaking around the island.

Enjoy the first of many stunning sunsets at the Archipelago, sip a cocktail or a glass of wine, and just relax on the deck until dinner is served on board.

Overnight on board at the bay at Island 115

Day Two:   Island 115 – Shark Island – Great Swinton Island    (B  / L / D )

Wake up with the birds and enjoy your first sunrise over the island; take an early morning swim before breakfast before heading to Shark Island. The island got its name because of its shape.  Shark Island is a great spot to do some more snorkeling and swimming. Next to Shark Island is Great Swinton Island, which we will visit right after lunch.  It's time to do more swimming, snorkeling, or even join a short dingy ride to the beach for some exploration. We will spend the night at the bay. Dinner will be served on board.

Overnight on board at the bay of Great Swinton

Day Three:  Great Swinton Island  – Moken Village, Jar Iann Kyunn – Bawei Island  – Nga Khin Nyo Gyee Island    (B  / L / D )

For those who are early risers, you can enjoy another sunrise and swim before having breakfast and cruising to Jar Iann Island. There, you will visit a Fishing and Sea Gipsy Village, stroll through the little streets, and visit the important monastery on the hill for Myanmar people. After saying goodbye to the people, you will get back on board, enjoy your lunch while cruising to Boulder Island.

On the way, we will make a short stop at Bawei Island for more water activities. Have you tried the stand-up paddleboard yet? In the late afternoon, we will arrive at Boulder Island and moor the boat at Boulder Bay. We will visit the island briefly before nightfall. You will spend your last night on the boat, saying goodbye to other travelers who are cruising back to Kawthaung the next day and to the crew. Overnight on board at Boulder Island.

Day Four:    Nga Khin Nyo Gyee Island (Resort)                (B  / L / D )      ( Info about the island)

After breakfast, pack your bag and get ready to move to your bungalow at the beach for the next three nights. Our Resort Manager will welcome you and give you a short briefing on the island and its activities. Then, check in to your Sea Front Bungalow directly at the beach front.

Unlike on the boat, the guide on the island will welcome you and discuss your activities for the next few days. Boulder Island has so much to offer. Just tell our guide what your favored activities are, and he will create a plan with you for the next few days. Lunch and dinner will be set at the resort's main building.

Overnight at the resort (Sea Front bungalow)

Day Five to Seven:  Nga Khin Nyo Gyee Island (Resort)                (B  / L / D )

Travel- & Medical Insurance

Travel insurance, including medical repatriation coverage, is mandatory for all of our trips. We strongly recommend that our guests purchase a suitable insurance package that covers a range of travel-related issues, such as lost or delayed luggage and airline or tour cancellations and provides coverage for the entire duration of their trip. While our tours include local accident insurance through the operator, it may not always meet European standards. It's important to ensure that the insurance covers all the activities you plan to undertake during your trip, such as rafting, scuba diving, cycling, cruises, and trekking. Many "free" insurances that come with banking packages or credit cards often provide insufficient coverage, so it's essential to carefully review the policy before traveling. Upon arrival, you will need to provide a copy of your insurance policy to your tour leader. Without proper insurance, you may not be allowed to join the tour as we would be unable to respond adequately in case of an emergency. Additionally, it's important to consult your doctor to make necessary preparations, including immunizations, for your chosen travel destination.

For those still in need of Travel, Medical, and Scuba Diving Insurance with global coverage, please visit our different Insurance Packages.

No matter which country you are in, just follow the above link to get your insurance package. You can buy, extend, and claim online from anywhere in the world, even while you are away from home and already on your way.

Note: Private travel insurance is mandatory for all our packages/excursions/tours.

Myanmar Visa:
All visitors to Myanmar must apply for a 28-day tourist visa. You can obtain your Myanmar visa at your nearest Myanmar Embassy or apply for an e-visa, which allows entry through all parts of Myanmar including Kawthaung. The visa fee is $50 USD. Please note that the Visa on Arrival (Tourist) is only available to those arriving by air at Yangon, Mandalay, and Nay Pyi Taw International airports.
