Day 1  Kawthaung - Taung La Bo Island - Pho Ni Island - Island 115        (- / L / D )
Depending on your arrival details, you being greeted by your guide either at the airport / hotel in Kawthaung or at the airport / hotel in Ranong for your transfer to Kawthaung.  The meeting time will be arround 09.30 am near the Myo Ma Jetty/pier in Kawthaung. It is strongly recommened to plan one day in advanced in either Kawtahung or Ranong.  After all the check in procedure you will board your home for the next days. Your tourleader will show you your gazebo and give you an overall briefing, during our motorvessel 7420 embark from Kawthung into the smooth sea.  Time to explore the boat and taking some last picture from the mainland behind.

Find your spot on the upper deck and enjoy the cruise into the heard of the mergui archipelago. On the way to Poni Island we will stop at Thaung LaBo island for quick dip into the blue water. Returning to the boat we will continue the cruise to Poni Island where we stay overnight. Enjoy your first  sunset on board while sipping a glass of wine or beer while cruising to island 115. Dinner will be served on board.  Overnight at Island 115

Day 2  Island 115 - Shark Island (Nga Mann isl) - Great Swinton Island        (B / L / D )
Get up early and watch the sunrise over Island 115 while having a nice cup of fresh coffee or just take a plunch in the torquise clear water.  You also have the opputunity to do either some snorkeling, kayaking or stand up paddling before breakfast is served.  After breakfast take the kayak or join the dingy to get to this beautiful beach with its powder sugar sand.  We will spend some time here and you are able to take a nice nap on the beach, visiting the beautiful clown fish along the rock, or take the kayak and go arround the island.

Return to the boat and enjoy the tasty lunch while cruising to Shark Island. The Island received his name from his shape, so no worry. The water arround are again just perfect for some kayaking, snorkeling and hopping to the beach. Our next stop will be at Great Swinton Island also called PiLar Island. More opputunities to get the kayak and explore the island or just go for a hike.   Dinner and overnight on board

Day 3  Great Swinton Island - Jar Lann Kyunn  (Moken Village) - Bawei Island- Boulder Island   (B / L / D )
After an other amazing sunrise and a heavely Breakfast we will cruise to visit a Moken and Fisherman Village.  Bring some candys or small gift (pen, little painting books) for the children. Stroll around the village and observe mthe daily life of the Villager.  On the right hand of the bay and next to the Village is one of the famouse monerstry. The main abt is very popular and many myanmar people all over the country coming visiting this place to  blessed from the abt. This temple is becoming also the place for meditation. After collecting all this new impression get backnon board and get ready for our next snorkeling and water activity spot.

Our next stop will be either Bowei island or Lagoon Bay depending on the daily permit of the local Pearl farm operator. Both places are great to explore the sea life while swimming and/ or snorkeling, kayaking or longtail SUP (stand up paddling board). Lunch on board while cruising to Boulder Island, our next stop.

Arriving at this amazing place get ready for some more activities. Take your mask, snorkel and fins and discover the underwater world of Boulder Bay. Or if the tides allows you take the opputunity to explore this great island with its many exciting treks.  As we will spend the night here you will be able to enjoy more action full hours the next morning. Day 4  Boulder Bay - Shar Kyunn Island     (B / L / D )
The highlight on your trip is awaits you at Boulder Island where you will have your choice of swimming, kayaking, enjoy the beautiful beach or go for an unforgettable trek on this previously uncharted island. The island offers so much more than 5 beaches. One of the favorites is the hike to Eagle Rock the highest point on the island. The view of over the island is spectacular.

Return on board  we serve lunch and set off in the afternoon to our next stop. Enjoy the view, read a good book or play one of the many games on board. Or just relax in your gazebo.  Arriving at Myauk Ni (Red Monkey Island)  Island time for a refreshing jump from the sun deck into the Sea and a swimming before we reach our final destination for the day the Shar Kyunn Island. Enjoy the last sunset and dinner on your trip before you retiring for the evening.  Dinner and overnight at Shar Kyunn Island

Day 5  Shar Kyunn Island - Kawthaung  (B / - / - )
After Breakfast its time to say good bye as we heading back to Kawthaung. We will arrive Kawthaung about 11.00 am - 11.45 am at Kawthaung the staff will assist you with immigration process before you continue with your travel planes.

** Myanmar Visa:
All visitors to Myanmar must apply for a 28day tourist visa. You can get your Myanmar visa either at your Myanmar Embassy in your country or since 1 September 2016 everybody can apply for e-visa to enter through all parts of Myanmar including Kawthaung and then travel freely in Myanmar. The price for such visas is 50 US$. Please note: The Visa on Arrival (Tourist) will be issued only to those arriving by air through the Entry points of Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw International airports.

Cruise Times and details:

  • Departure time 10:00 Hours ( 10 AM ) sharp from the pier in Kawthaung  Please make sure you are in time in Kawthaung so you not miss the departure of our boat for you cruise.

Arrival via Airport Kawthaung: As domestic airlines from Yangon are most of the time arriving with delay we strongly recommend to arrive one day before the departure, we will organize the transfer on the departure day from your hotel. Many of our guests liked to stay at the Victoria Cliff Resort which is the best hotel in Kawthaung. If you look for something simpler there are the Garden Hotel or Penguin Hotel.  All detail these hotels can be checked on www.agoda.com.  You also have to opportunity to book directly online.

Arrival via Airport in Ranong:   Thai domestic airlines are much more reliable, so the morning flights from Bangkok to Ranong will come by time. Please calculate 1,5 hrs – 2 hours for the transfer to and from the Airport in Ranong meaning your flight should arrive before 09.00 (9am) Thai time.

  • Arrival time 12:00 Hours ( 12 PM) at the pier in Kawthaung   You will arrive back to the pier at 12.00 noon, please organize your connection flights accordingly. 

Departure to the airport in Kawthaung:   Please plan one hour to get from the pier to the Airport Kawthaung, meaning your plan should not leave before 14.00 (2pm) as you have to be one hour before departure at the airport.

Departure to the airport in Ranong:   Please make sure that you connection flights are not to early that day. Myanmar is a half hour before Thailand, so if you plan to leave via Ranong please consider the different time zone.  Please calculate 1,5 hrs – 2 hours for the transfer to and from the Airport in Ranong meaning your flight should not departure before 15.00 (3pm) (Thai Time) as you have to be also one hour before departure at the airport.

Children Policy:
Minimum age for children on board is 7 yrs. 
Children between 7 and 10 yrs which sharing a gazebo with both parents are receiving a 50% discount on our trip prices.

Single Supplement surcharge – Single traveler
As one gazebo will be split via a curtain to two “single gazebos” we are able to share with mix gender. The gazebo will look like two separate single beds. In this case no single supplement will charge.

But if you like to have one gazebo by yourself, we have to charge as follow:

Travel- & Medical Insurance

Travel Insurance including medical repatriation insurance is mandatory on all our trips. Therefore, we strongly recommend to our guests to make sure to purchase suitable insurance package, which covers all kind of traveling problems, such as lost or loss of luggage, any kind of cancellation of airlines or tours for the value for all the length of your trip.  All our tours are including local accident insurance via the operator, but they are most of the time not European standard. Make sure that it covers all the activities that you are likely to undertake, such as rafting, scuba diving, cycling, cruises, trekking etc.  Many ‘free’ insurances that come with banking packages, credit cards etc., are quite inadequate to cover you, so make sure you check the policy before your travel. You are required to give a copy of your insurance policy to your tour leader upon arrival. Without proper insurance like this, we will not be allowed to join the tour as we will not be able to respond adequately in case an emergency if you do not have the right insurance. Please also contact your doctor for further preparations regarding to your chosen travel destination including immunizations.
