08.30 Pick up at your Hotel / Villa by our friendly local English speaking guide.
Visit the famous “Big Buddha” and enjoy the view over the southern part of Phuket.
Continue to “Wat Chalong”, Phuket’s biggest and most beautiful Buddhist Temple and learn about the rituals which are held every day in the life of a Thai person. Proceed to Phuket Town with a short stop at the Cashew Nuts factory.
Proceed to Phuket Town for lunch at the unique “Tamachart Restaurant”, also called the Nature Restaurant because of its most unusual, out-of-the-ordinary eatery set up. A labyrinth of small winding staircases wind their way to the upper levels and you feel like you’re climbing up a tree-house, fish tanks posing as television sets, brick-a-brack from the sixties era, unusual water fountains, and a toy model train track running through the restaurant.
After a traditional Thai Lunch, we will continue the tour by exploring “Old Phuket Town” with its old Sino-Portuguese style houses, stroll around Thalang Road and visit some of the oldest shops on the island such as the old and still traditional Chinese Pharmacy where you still can buy all the old Chinese medicines or many other herbs. Old Phuket Town is full of history, culture and unique shops and little cafés. Depending on your interest we will design this part especially for your wishes.
Before we return to your villa / hotel we will end the day with a visit to Rang Hill for a nice view over Phuket Town. Be aware of the wild monkeys, which are running around.
Around 17.00 we will arrive at your Hotel/Villa
